High and Mighty Lonesome
From Rob Huffman's album Tone without Tension

I've been high and mighty lonesome
Been down so low my wheels won't go
I've been run down, strung out, hung up to dry
Mighty lonesome, mighty high

I left home and I have traveled
I looked around but I could not see
How can one man live such a troubled worried life
One lonely man, one lonely me

I've been high and mighty lonesome
Been down so low my wheels won't go
I've been run down, strung out, hung up to dry
Mighty lonesome, mighty high

I got lost but I recovered
I saw the light then I drew the blind
Got a one way ticket to take me home again
To ease my bones and my weary mind

I've been high and mighty lonesome
Been down so low my wheels won't go
I've been run down, strung out, hung up to dry
Mighty lonesome, mighty high

So I take my time and I pay attention
To the little signs beside the road
Maybe one day one way will lead me to a place
Where I can lay down this troublesome load

I've been high and mighty lonesome
Been down so low my wheels won't go
I've been run down, strung out, hung up to dry
Mighty lonesome, mighty high
Mighty lonesome, mighty lonesome, mighty high
